As many of you know, on Monday, May 1 at 7:00, Consumed Ministries in partnership with Intervarsity Student Fellowship at Normandale Community College will be hosting a free Shawn McDonald concert to benefit Invisible Children. The concert will take place in Normandale’s auditorium. Some of you are not familiar with the Invisible Children Organization or why we (Consumed Ministries) would do something on there behalf. I was just made aware that on Wednesday’s episode of Oprah, Invisible Children will have a fifteen minute segment on the show. If you can watch it live, record it on your Tivo, DVR, or VCR, I’m sure the segment will assist you in learning more about Invisible Children and why we desire to do something to help them with their cause.
