I think one way God points out our weaknesses is by bringing us to a place where we can’t ignore them. I often find it easy to overlook my faults, but God consistently finds a way to bring me to a place where I can’t overlook them and I have to choose to bring them to his feet or do nothing about them. Often times this happens for me through relationships. My experience has been that when you get to know someone, they are usually pretty good at seeing and pointing out your weaknesses. I think that relationships in this way are kinda like mirrors – mirrors that God uses to point out our weaknesses to us.
